Outside Working Hours

 

 Offers you peace of mind that your income is protected should you not be able to work as a result of an accident or sickness that may occur during your leisure time.

 

WorkCover Top Up

 

Your income may be reduced under WorkCover or similar legislation if you are injured or suffer a sickness as a result of your employment. WorkCover Top Up can provide the difference between the compensation payable under WorkCover or similar legislation up to 85% of your pre-disability gross weekly earnings. Your pre-disability earnings would include regular established overtime,  shift allowance and penalty rates up to a maximum of $1,200 gross per week.

 

 

Journey Injury

 

You may not be covered through WorkCover or similar legislation if you have an accident in the course of your journey to and from work. For example whilst walking or riding a bike or even driving a car.  Journey Injury Insurance covers you for loss of income due to an injury only whilst travelling to and from work to your place of residence without substantial deviation. Cover for Journey Injury Insurance will vary according to state motor accident legislation if you are injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident. For permanent or fatal injuries, a  Capital Benefit of up to $100,000 can apply.
